Foam Suppression System Testing
With a company wide commitment to and corporate mandate for environmentally-friendly and cost efficient services, personnel at this Florida facility contacted ProTech Fire (PTI) to perform foam suppression system testing. As one of three companies in the country to perform this type of service, PTI tested this facility’s large foam pump system and performed a flow discharge test of (14) risers.
By utilizing the environmentally friendly foam testing concept, ProTech Fire was able to save the customer from using expensive foam solution, therefore eliminating the need for a disposal tanker and costly liquid disposal. Additionally, the environmentally friendly liquid eliminated the risk of a ruptured discharge hose which would cause costly environmental hazard cleanup. In total, PTI was able to save the company about 25%.
